The history of the Hubertushof

A family with passion for hospitality

In 1960, Max Leikermoser’s parents, Herta and Franz, built a small guesthouse on the site where today’s “Hubertushof in Anif” stands. In 1982, Franz and Herta fulfilled their dream: a hotel with 67 rooms and four conference rooms. Thanks to its charm and diverse offerings, the hotel quickly gained popularity.

In 1994, their son Max took over the management of the hotel and has devoted himself wholeheartedly to this role. His impressive wine cellar has become an insider tip among wine lovers.

After continuous renovations and expansions, the privately run 4-star hotel now offers 84 comfortably appointed rooms, including single, double, and triple rooms, as well as 14 junior suites.

The most recent renovation took place in 2012 to mark the hotel’s 30th anniversary:
“Tradition Meets Lifestyle” – a motto reflected in the creation of 14 modern lifestyle double rooms and 4 lifestyle suites, all designed with the finest natural materials.

All six conference rooms were updated with the latest seminar technology. The spacious garden terrace and outdoor area were also redesigned, offering guests a peaceful retreat. For added comfort, all street-facing rooms are now equipped with soundproof windows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
